I have written a review maybe once in my life. This is NOT my thing. However, I need to share this experience with whomever needs to know what kind of Doctor this man is! Dr. Shasti did an amazing job with my 19 year old sons case of Cauda Equina Syndrome (I had never heard of this) Not only that, he put me at ease with the entire surgery. They kept me updated literally the entire step of the way! My son’s surgery was done November 29, 2022 & today (Dec 2, 2022) he is home & able to walk unassisted! I am so grateful for the team that handled his care!

Dr. Shasti performed a two procedure spinal surgery on me Nov. of 2022. He was very thorough with his initial exam and imaging requirements. My appointments with him never felt rushed. His is very kind and personable. He always answered my questions in a manner that I could easily understand. His in hospital communication with my husband immediately following the surgeries was excellent. Most importantly within a few short weeks I am pain free in my lower back/hips and feeling better than I have in many years. I am very thankful and appreciative to Dr. Shasti and his staff.

Dr. Shasti is one of the best doctors I have ever met. His bedside manner is amazing, he explains everything to you so you can understand what he’s talking about. His surgical skills are superior and go above and beyond as a surgeon. I’d recommend him to anyone needing care in his specialty.

Dr. Shasti is the best. I had surgery and he and his staff were caring and informative throughout the entire process. If you need back surgery, he is the absolute best choice. He is available to answer questions immediately and addresses all concerns in an extremely timely manner. Would highly recommend.

Simply put Dr. Shasti and his staff are nothing short of amazing. I was referred to Dr. Shasti by another doctor who described him as "The Best There Is" for spine surgery. I have unfortunately had back surgery before and was laid up for 6 weeks, I am writing this review from the gym 3 weeks post surgery and am able to get on a plane to travel tomorrow. Dr. Shasti's team got me into the office on short notice, worked with my insurance to schedule the surgery I so badly needed, and got me back on my feet that same very day. I am so thankful to have been introduced to Dr. Shasti, he is a consummate professional , who took exceptional care of me. I am back on my feet feeling better than ever and it is all thanks to his conservative approach to surgery and exceptional technique. If you or a loved one is ever in need of help, there is simply no team better than the one Dr. Shasti is running top to bottom.

Professional, confident, kind and genuine, Dr. Shasti is hands-down one of a kind. He treated my mama as if she were his own and made me feel comforted and confident in his abilities. The surgery lasted over 4 hours. I was a bit hesitant for a young doc to perform such a complex operation on my nearly 70 yo mama; needless to say, sitting on pins and needles in the waiting room while a loved one is in the operating room is no picnic. But doc came out with a reassuring smile - the surgery went very well. Mama was already walking a little the same day. I was shown before and after..., not for the week of heart. The most important thing about the doc is this - he truly cares for the patients, treating each with genuine respect; he is down to earth, witty, easygoing with a great sense of humor...and most importantly, in addition to all these plausible human characteristics, he is an expert in his field. We feel blessed to have crossed paths with him.

This is a very emotional subject, as well as review. Life altering is the first thing ,that when I’m alone, literally brings me to tears. I went from being a vibrant 50+ mom and grama , and reduced to needing assistance to just getting up and down and even walking had become to mere steps instead. The MRI and X-ray’s proved what the task at hand would be in a two step .surgery ,that was just 8 weeks ago,which was December 29th, and he had me up walking on the 2nd day. Yes I had a walker, but only because I wanted to go fast😁. Yes, physical therapy helps as well. But I have my life back. My mom cried when she saw me walking for her birthday..I’ve thanked God many times for allowing my daughter to have found him, as she had went before her own mother, of a spine surgery as well. Prior to hers, she had interviewed at least 4 other surgeons. He was able to answer all of her Many questions, but also shared his knowledge of solutions with her in such a manner that no one else could or would. I watched her progress in amazement, so he became my 1st and only choice. He’s driven by giving us these healing experiences with such passion for life and wellness. If you’re searching, look no further. He IS a lifeline to starting over for a pain free future. May God bless him and his wonderful staff always.

Dr Shasti is hands down the best doctor i’ve ever had. I had to have 2 of my discs replaced in my cervical spine, im only 25 and hearing about this was definitely scary. Dr Shasti made me feel at ease the entire time. Any time i had a question, it was answered right away. His bedside manor is incredible and you can tell he really cares about his patients. I will recommend him and his entire team to anyone. If you are looking for a doctor, do not hesitate to chose him!!

Dr. Shasti did an incredible job on my mom’s major back surgeries. He was accessible and prompt in his responses throughout her recovery for any questions or concerns we had. My husband and I were in a pretty awful car crash about a year ago (someone crossed the center line on a 2 lane road and hit us head on at high speed). We are so grateful to have received excellent emergency care from Dr. Shasti and the whole team at Inova Loudoun Hospital. You know it’s a good sign when the ER and OR nurses are telling you how wonderful your surgeon is! Wow, cant say enough about doc shasti. A true expert and professional who fixed my 2 yr sciatica issue. He knew exactly which procedure i needed and preformed perfectly. Unequivocally the best, Dr. Shasti restored me to a functional human being. Prior to surgery I was a physical wreck with neck and back damage. Dr. Shasti changed that. While under his professional care, he performed a complex cervical fusion surgery resulting in the return of mobility and removing pressure on my spinal chord and nerves. The relief is and remains something that prior to surgery I thought I would never enjoy. Months later Dr. Shasti performed another complex multiple fusion surgery on my lower spine in the lumbar region. My lumbar spine had degenerated to a point where I could not walk, lay down or sit. Physical life was unbearable. Dr. Shasti fixed me. He is an excellent surgeon. (My wife also had a back fusion surgery by Dr. Shasti and she too is restored to excellent health!) Dr. Shasti has earned our trust and he is, without reservation, recommended to anyone thinking about spinal surgery. His professional demeanor, care and technical professionalism is without equal. As well as being a consummate professional and getting results, Dr. Shasti was always available, answered, to the fullest extent, my questions and following surgery was just as available and caring for my well-being. My surgery was successful!, The surgeon is very professional. He is reassuring: explained the procedure before hand to make me feel not afraid of the surgery, and explained what was done to my body when I was operated. I think during the surgery, I slept for almost 4 hours, the surgeon has been good during the procedure: good communication skill and effective decision making and also good organization ability. Now I feel like a new man, a bionic one.
